from this video, you can get the formula to copy the below cell data to an adjacent cell. In Excel sometimes the value present below or above cell is actually needed adjacent cell. So if number of rows are more then it will take too much time to copy below or above cell values and paste to next cell, this may increase the chance of manual error. to avoid this we have excel formula which will copy only alternate below cell to adjacent cell.
